a good tumblr url put to waste. i was also just starting to love my dash. oh well. it’s spelled out wrong anyway. my o.o.r. tumblr will still be up so i guess i’ll be on there. someday i may even make a new personal one. meanwhile, in an unrelated note, i find it pathetic how much some people have learned to pity themselves and irritate others while they’re at it. please, for your own good, buck up.

somehow i feel proud of my little cup of tea. i suppose i understand now the bourgeois urge to photograph food. it’s just that consuming a meal or a drink feels somehow destructive of something— of its very form or shape, of the wholeness that is the result of some meticulous preparation. i would like to think of photography as a form of apology for having to devour something that was once nice and whole.
so pardon the hipster in me, but here’s my cup of tea in a photo using kundera as a background prop.
